Best Oils for Beards

The look, feel, and health of beards is a legitimate concern for men—and those who love them—and the answer is just a bottle (or two) of essential oil away. I am going to over some of the best DIY recipes for beard oil and beard balm as well as the best essentials oils to use for beard care. There are even some done for your options for the best beard oil experience.

Why Use a Beard Oil

Beard oils are becoming increasingly popular because they can change the look, texture, and health of your favorite facial friend in a matter of seconds. The science behind beard oil is quite simple. Within a matter of days, even the best efforts to grow a beard can result in a dry, itchy, and disheveled mess. While it may seem like it’s the hair, the root cause of these issues is actually the underlying skin and its sebaceous glands.

Sebaceous glands are microscopic glands located at the root of every hair follicle. Their main job is to keep your skin and hair moisturized. As the hair follicle progressively becomes longer, the sebaceous glands can’t keep up their moisturizing efforts. The longer the beard, the greater the risk for dry, unhealthy skin and hair. Beard oil is a simple solution to the discomforts of a beard. These tips also help men who have long hair as well.

There are a couple options when it comes to beard oil. You can make your own tailored to your specific needs OR you can buy a done for you option. I have both of those options here.
